The enthusiastic response from the Cornish nightlife community was overwhelming, allowing Little South to become a crucial platform for local artists seeking exposure at events. As time went on, our reach expanded beyond Cornwall and encompassed artists and events from across Devon and the entire South West of England, UK. One of our defining features has been the opportunity to showcase DJ mixes through our podcast series. Since our establishment, we have actively published podcast mixes from some of the most talented DJs in the South West. These mixes serve as a testament to the exceptional skills and creativity of our region's DJs, providing a platform for them to showcase their talent to a wider audience.

Paul Oakenfold Will Be The First DJ To Perform At Stonehenge

The UNESCO World Heritage site will host the dance event in September.

Paul Oakenfold will make history in September as he becomes the first ever DJ to play at UNESCO World Heritage site Stonehenge. Only 50 people will be there to watch the man part-responsible for kickstarting the Summer Of Love, but his performance will be recorded and later made available as 'Live At Stonehenge'.

On the gig, Oakenfold said: "I am so lucky to be able to share my music from such an iconic site,” said Oakenfold. “The energy there will be like nowhere else on earth, and this will be reflected in my music and performance.

“Despite having performed at incredible events and locations all across the globe, sunset at Stonehenge will be the most magical.”

All funds raised from the Universe-organised show will go to English Heritage, a charity that preserves over 400 historic sites.
